Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve started to become more intentional on how I spend my time.
Going back to “slow living” has been great for my anxiety.Ive been enjoyig the simple things that the season has to offer.
Here are a few things I’ve been enjoying to do this fall season:
Hiking.Hiking or simply walking through trails during the fall season is one of my favorite things to do. There is something so relaxing about enjoying a stroll through all the fall colors.
As the weather gets cooler, I try to get as much outdoor time as I can [especially with the kiddos] before the winter comes.
Lighting Candles.I know this is such a simple thing to do, but there is just something so therapeutic about lighting a candle and filling the house with a warm fall scent.
This fall farmhouse candle is my current favorite. It has notes of cypress, spice and amber
Fall Movie Night. Obviously, you can do a movie night anytime, but I love mixing popcorn with candy corn during the fall. It was a treat my mom used to do back when she was a kindergarten teacher, so it holds a nostalgic feel for me.
Lately, the kiddos and I have been watching the Nightmare Before Christmas on repeat.
Cozy Reading. On the weekends, I enjoy waking up before the kiddos do and reading a good book while snuggled with a cozy blanket.
If you know me, I’ll read any good book on decluttering and minimalism. So far, I’m enjoying this book Lightly.
Warm Bath. You can mix a bunch of the above to enjoy a nice, warm bath. I’ve been doing a bath once of twice a week. Sometimes I’ll read a book, other times listen to a podcast.
There you have it, some of my favorite cozy fall activities to do.
If it’s anything this pandemic has taught me is that sometimes “simple” is all you need. ❤
I like the wooden plank and the idea of listening to a Podcast. I definitely want to do this, but I’m going to start with once a week.

Yes!!! I just found an old piece of plank board in the house, but the cute ones I’ve seen are as cheap as $17 online!
